Santa Fe, NM (PRUnderground) September 21st, 2026
Author Karen L. Jones announces the upcoming release September 19, 2026 of her deeply moving and transformative new memoir, The Tingling of Souls: My Journey from Emptiness to Love. Featuring an inspiring foreword by Jack Canfield, co-creator of the blockbuster Chicken Soup for the Soul series, the book offers a rare, profound look at reconciling clinical psychiatric understanding with the invisible landscapes of the soul to overcome deep-seated emotional pain.
In The Tingling of Souls, Jones shares her personal evolution with striking vulnerability. Having survived childhood abuse, existential emptiness, and the destructive spirals of youth, it was a sudden cancer diagnosis in her 40s that ultimately cracked open a well of exquisite, unconditional love within. By reclaiming the comforting inner voices and spiritual gifts of her childhood, she learned to bridge her extensive medical background with the profound power of spiritual awakening.
"Karen's story is a beautiful testament to the resilience of the human spirit," says Jack Canfield in the book's foreword. "Her journey demonstrates that no matter how empty or lost we may feel, the path to a deeply fulfilled, love-filled life is always within reach. This book will touch your heart and stir your soul."
The Tingling of Souls explores critical themes including:
Reconciling traditional clinical knowledge with spiritual gifts and intuitive wisdom.
Transforming trauma, abuse, and life-threatening illness into a gateway for unconditional love.
Navigating the "dark night of the soul" to emerge with a renewed sense of purpose.
Utilizing meditation, dreamwork, and prayer to heal inner emptiness and awaken dormant spiritual potential.
"I wrote this book for anyone who has ever felt a profound sense emptiness, or the existential fatigue of core loneliness or loss," says author Karen L. Jones. "My hope is that by sharing my darkest moments, my deeply personal stories, and the spiritual tools that ultimately saved me, readers will find a map to awaken the gifts waiting inside themselves."
The Tingling of Souls: My Journey from Emptiness to Love is available for purchase online through major retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as select independent bookstores.
