The album explores identity, performance, desire and the subconscious through cinematic melodic techno and progressive electronic music.
Ankara, Turkey Oct 7, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - SYØGE announce Persona, their debut album and first fully conceptual body of work, set for release through The Q Music in October 2026.
The album brings together melodic techno, progressive influences and cinematic electronic production. Atmospheric synth work, driving low end and emotionally charged toplines shape its sonic identity, while the tracks move between introspection and dancefloor energy.
Persona is structured around a series of psychological archetypes, with each track representing a different aspect of identity and the relationship between control, awareness and instinct. The Constant introduces the album's emotional side, while The Awakening and The Instinct represent two opposing states, moving from inner activation and confrontation towards desire, movement and physical momentum. The Exposed occupies a more vulnerable space between control and surrender.
The final part of the album introduces Undercurrent, a title that deliberately breaks from the structure of the preceding tracks and represents the subconscious force beneath the persona.
The album's tracklist is:
The Exposed
The Constant
The Performer
The Instinct
The Observer
The Awakening
Undercurrent
Undercurrent (Cenk Eroge, Sancar Yildirim Remix)
The album concludes with Undercurrent (Cenk Eroge, Sancar Yildirim Remix), turning the hidden force of the original into a closing reinterpretation.
Rather than presenting a collection of unrelated tracks, Persona was developed as a complete work, with its individual releases gradually revealing the wider concept. The album has been introduced through a monthly single rollout leading to its full release in October.
For SYØGE, Persona represents a new chapter in their development as a duo, bringing together their melodic and progressive background with darker electronic textures and a stronger focus on narrative and concept.
Persona will be released through The Q Music on 16 October 2026.

There is something quite deliciously subversive about a freaky shoe. Feet of course already hold a hint of perversion – some people are really into them, while others find them repellent. But shod those feet in a shoe that people can find both compelling and strange? Well actually, that’s fashion catnip. Visceral proof can be found in those who have made the freaky shoe their signature, such as the aristocratic, enigmatic and entirely iconic Daphne Guinness, who always wears a pair of...

At nearly 80, South Korean artist Kang Myonghi retains the creative energy of her youth. She remains active in her studio, with her commitment to international projects undiminished. In recent months, she has visited Hong Kong twice to prepare for “What Remains to be Seen”, her first solo exhibition at a gallery in two years.
