NORCROSS, Ga. - Sept. 22, 2026 - PRLog -- Expertise in performance excellence and process improvement is needed more than ever in an era of constant industry challenges and upheavals.

If you are one of those experts, your ideas and innovations could be on display at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo, May 22-25, 2027, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Advanced technology and its effect on processes are a key subject in nearly all areas of process engineering.

"I submit to all of you that industrial and systems engineers – what we do, improving systems improving customer experience, putting all this together – this is applicable to every industry, and we can make a great impact in nearly every industry across the globe. So that's why ISEs matter," said Jennifer Van Buskirk, Head of Business Operations at AT&T and a 2026 conference keynote speaker.

"We think that it's really important for industrial engineers to lead the change in organizations with AI, and you have to start with yourself," Amy Sartain, co-founder of industrialengineer.ai, said in a Problem Solved: The IISE Podcast episode.

The abstract submission deadline is Nov. 8. Visit iise.org/Annual/abstracts to take your place in Louisville with the top minds of the profession.
