Pondshire Launches Upgraded Private Glamping Retreat in Upstate New York

Oct 12, 2026

Pondshire’s broader public introduction follows a 2025 trial season and 2026 additions to its private pond retreat. A dockside wood-fired hot tub, pond-view heated shower and in-dome conveniences support stays for one guest group at a time.

Brantingham, United States, October 12, 2026 /PressCable/ -- Pondshire is announcing the broader public launch of its upgraded private glamping retreat in Upstate New York following a 2025 trial season and improvements during 2026. The additions include a dockside wood-fired hot tub, a heated outdoor shower overlooking the pond, and a vanity with sink and convenience toilet inside the dome.

Full-retreat direct reservations include one king-bed dome and two companion cabins, even when only two guests stay. The retreat accommodates up to six registered guests, with one booking group at a time. Photographs, accommodation details and facilities are available on Pondshire’s website.

“Last summer was a test period and we were still building,” said John Paul, Pondshire’s owner, referring to 2025. The announcement introduces the 2026 upgrades to a retreat that already welcomed guests during its development period.

The private wood-fired hot tub sits at the end of the dock, overlooking the pond. Guests fill and heat it themselves, allowing time for the water to warm before a soak.

The heated outdoor shower overlooks the pond. The dome’s vanity and sink provide running water. A separate outhouse serves toilet needs. Bathing remains outdoors, and the retreat does not have a conventional indoor full bathroom.

For couples looking for glamping with a private hot tub in Upstate New York, no unrelated booking group shares the pond, hot tub or included outdoor spaces.

The king-bed dome sleeps two people. A double bed in the kitchen-cabin loft and another double bed in the companion cabin provide additional sleeping spaces. Kitchen-cabin access includes a gas stove and oven, cookware, utensils and a compact refrigerator. A stovetop espresso maker, cups, wine glasses and coffee mugs are provided; guests bring their preferred coffee. There is also a mini fridge inside the dome.

Two kayaks, two paddleboats and a rowboat are included, with paddles for the kayaks and rowboat, plus fishing poles and tackle. Six life jackets are supplied; guests should check fit and bring suitable children’s life jackets when needed. A grill and fire pit offer outdoor cooking and gathering areas. Firewood and starter materials are supplied. The grill uses wood or charcoal, with guests bringing charcoal if preferred. Solar power, running water and Starlink Wi-Fi support the stay, although cellular service can be limited.

Drinking water is supplied in coolers in the dome and kitchen cabin. Linens, towels and toiletries are provided. The dome, cabins and other facilities are separate, so Pondshire’s packing guidance recommends outdoor footwear and layers for cool evenings.

Pondshire welcomes stays from April 1 to November 1, with a standard two-night minimum. Dates, rates, fees and cancellation terms are available through the existing booking process.

Prospective guests can obtain an approximate drive time before reserving. The retreat’s exact location and guest arrival instructions are provided after a confirmed reservation.
