NITCO Purchases TV Cable of Rensselaer/Morocco

Hebron, Indiana, January 2, 2018: Northwestern Indiana Telephone Co. (NITCO) is pleased to announce the acquisition of TV Cable of Rensselaer and Morocco. Since 1966 TV Cable of Rensselaer and Morocco has served the residents and businesses of Southern Jasper and Newton Counties. As a provider of ZING Cable TV, high speed internet and voice services TV Cable of Rensselaer and Morocco believed that being an active participant in the community it serves is critical to its success and the growth of the communities it serves.

Today NITCO will continue that tradition. As Northwest Indiana’s premier provider of broadband, telecommunications, fiber infrastructure and telephone service since 1939, NITCO has been serving the residents and businesses of Lake, Porter, Jasper and Newton Counties and now welcomes the residents of Rensselaer and Morocco as new NITCO customers.

Recently, NITCO was hired to design and operate the fiber network for the Town of Chesterton with completion of that network expected in 2018. With over 8000 residential and 900 business customers NITCO is growing by making significant investments in infrastructure in Porter, Lake, Jasper and Newton counties.
