Limited validator program targets experienced infrastructure operators with conditional Foundation delegation, early network access, and Genesis Validator designation.
Seattle, Washington Oct 5, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Lithosphere, the AI-native Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem built for autonomous agents, intelligent applications, and Web4 infrastructure, today announced the LITHO Genesis Validator Program - Cohort 01, a limited launch designed for professional blockchain infrastructure companies preparing to support the Lithosphere mainnet.
The program is structured to bring experienced operators into the network from genesis while lowering the initial capital barrier required to participate. Qualified operators can enter with a minimum self-stake of 10,000 LITHO, with a recommended self-stake range of 10,000 to 25,000 LITHO. Foundation delegation may supplement validator voting power and effective stake, subject to qualification and ongoing operational requirements including uptime, upgrades, and infrastructure performance.
Cohort 01 is being positioned specifically for established infrastructure teams rather than first-time validator operators. Lithosphere is targeting experienced participants from the Cosmos ecosystem and other major proof-of-stake networks, including operators familiar with networks such as Celestia, Osmosis, Injective, Solana, Avalanche, NEAR, Polygon, Ethereum, Polkadot, Sui, Aptos, and others. The objective is to bring proven operational experience into the LITHO validator set from the beginning.
Participants accepted into the program may receive a Genesis Validator designation, represented through an on-chain NFT or badge credential, together with early access to network releases, upgrades, governance participation, dedicated technical support, private validator channels, and public directory visibility. Qualified operators may also receive conditional Foundation LITHO delegation and consideration for future delegation or ecosystem grant opportunities.
"The Genesis Validator Program is about starting Lithosphere's production network with experienced operators who understand the demands of running critical decentralized infrastructure," said J. King Kasr, Chief Scientist at KaJ Labs. "Rather than building the validator set from zero, we want to bring proven infrastructure teams into the network early and give them the tools, support, and alignment needed to participate in Lithosphere's long-term growth."
The program arrives as Lithosphere moves toward its public mainnet launch and expands the operational infrastructure required to support agent-native execution, cross-chain coordination, network security, and broader ecosystem activity. Validators will form an important part of the network's security and governance foundation as Lithosphere transitions from testnet development into production.
Lithosphere has also introduced a centralized onboarding destination at validators.litho.ai, where prospective operators can access program details, registration, and support resources. Mainnet and Makalu validator explorers, validator documentation, and onboarding materials are also available as the network continues advancing its infrastructure ahead of launch.
Cohort 01 is limited, with participation focused on professional infrastructure companies capable of meeting the technical and operational requirements of the Lithosphere network.
