Authors from across the country submitted their nominations following which their entries were curated with a rigorous run-through according to the categories applied and 129 finalists were selected for felicitation from the total pool of 2137.
The publishing house awarded five new authors in the Emerging Author of the Year category since they've published some dynamic debut works this year.
Yashas Ramesh was awarded Emerging Author of the Year for The Gist of Life: From 6 to 60 Years. The novel deals with complex emotions, advising the readers that often relationships stand on the temporary pillars of money, fame and respect.

The suspenseful story is a web of twists and turns which would delight even an avid reader and keep them on their toes as they follow the journey of Rajesh Saxena, a meat exporter.
AN-Origins Issue 2 is a fast-paced mystery unfolding Major Vaayu's story who, unknown to himself, learns about his family--which has existed since our universe's existence--the powers he can have and the great enemy he must face. Varun Malhotra was crowned the Emerging Author of the Year for the same.
