Dallas, Texas Oct 26, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Dallas Security Systems (DSS) has announced three promotions within its leadership team, recognizing the experience and contributions of Rick Perez, Paul Aquilina, and Rod Hassett. These promotions reflect the company's commitment to strengthening its leadership structure and ensuring continued excellence in serving its customers.

"As we look toward the future of Dallas Security Systems, it's important that we have the right people in leadership positions to support our continued growth and success," said Amy Monroe, Co-Owner of Dallas Security Systems. "Rick, Paul, and Rod have each demonstrated a strong commitment to our company, our employees, and our customers. These promotions reflect not only our confidence in their abilities, but also our commitment to building a leadership team that will help guide DSS into its next chapter."

Rick Perez Promoted to Director of Sales

Rick Perez has been promoted from Sales Manager to Director of Sales. With more than 25 years of experience in the security industry, Rick brings extensive knowledge of security technologies, customer relationships, and business development.

His career spans installation, service, and sales, giving him a broad understanding of both the technical and business sides of the industry. At DSS, Rick has helped lead the sales organization, develop customer relationships, and support business development efforts.

As Director of Sales, Rick will take on greater strategic responsibility for sales performance, business development, customer relationships, and the continued growth of the sales team. His experience across multiple areas of the industry will help DSS identify new opportunities and strengthen its position in the market.

Paul Aquilina Promoted to Director, IT & Installation

Paul Aquilina has been promoted from IT Manager to Director, IT & Installation. Since joining DSS in 1994, Paul has developed an extensive understanding of the company's operations, technology, and internal systems. Over more than three decades, he has become a trusted leader whose knowledge and experience support the company's day-to-day operations and long-term success.

In addition to leading IT and Installation, Paul provides operational oversight across the Central Station and Accounting departments. His responsibilities span four key areas of the business, requiring a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and operational insight.

The promotion formally recognizes the breadth of Paul's responsibilities and his important role in the company's leadership. His continued oversight will support operational efficiency, strengthen coordination across departments, and help prepare DSS for future growth.

Rod Hassett Promoted to Director, Service

Rod Hassett has been promoted from Service Manager to Director, Service. In his expanded role, Rod will lead the Service organization, with a focus on operational performance, employee development, process improvements, and customer experience.

Rod will also take on additional responsibilities in facilities management, helping oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and operational needs of the DSS building. This broader role will support a safe, professional, and well-managed workplace for employees and visitors.

With his practical knowledge and experience at DSS, Rod is well-positioned to help maintain service standards while improving the processes and workplace operations that support the company's customers and employees.

Strengthening Leadership for the Future

The promotions reflect Dallas Security Systems' commitment to developing its people, strengthening accountability, and building a leadership structure that supports its long-term goals. Each leader brings a different area of expertise, helping the company maintain a strong foundation across sales, technology, installation, service, and business operations.

As DSS looks ahead, the expanded roles of Rick, Paul, and Rod will help guide their respective teams, support customer needs, and contribute to the company's continued development.

Dallas Security Systems congratulates Rick Perez, Paul Aquilina, and Rod Hassett on their well-deserved promotions.
